How to Get Started

  • Call or stop in our showroom to speak with one of our team members
  • Tell us what you are looking for
  • We will set up a time & date to come out 
  • When we visit your home, you will speak with one of our sales representatives about your design and style.
  • Then we will send you a quote 
  • Once you have signed your contract, you will deposit a 50% deposit. We accept all major credit cards or personal checks.
  • Once these steps are complete, we will order the materials to start the fabricating process. As with anything custom product, fabrication can take 8-12 weeks.

Powder Coating

Elsmere Ironworks can make your iron ornaments last a lifetime and resistant to scratches, chips, and abrasions. We can powder coat your iron products, which, unlike standard paint, powder coating is baked in an oven causing a chemical reaction and thus, making it ten times more durable than ordinary paint. For this reason, we offer a one-year paint warranty.

Custom Faux Finish

At Elsmere Ironworks, we also offer custom faux finishes by a local artist or one of our own. These finishes include a pewter finish, gold, silver, and much more. The process is hand-feathered strokes painted on the tips or edges of the product to enhance the design.


Elsmere Ironworks wants all our customers to have the chance to have a unique one-of-a-kind design or signature piece to add to their home. This process is just another service that we offer.

Hot Dipped Galvanizing

Elsmere Ironworks gives you the option to ensure no rust by adding an extra layer of protection. This is called hot-dipped galvanizing and is ideal for outdoor iron works, such as window boxes, fences, exterior railings, or any custom product that is outside. Hot-dipped galvanizing iron can withstand corrosion in numerous environments, making this iron last for over 70 years or more!
